Festival report highlights the main themes discussed in this year’s award campaigns
D&AD has already made the D&AD Annual available, the yearbook that summarizes the insights, strategies and campaigns that were at the D&AD Awards 2024. The material, free to download, talks about this year’s award-winning creative campaigns in 32 categories.
Among the main trends to be adopted by creatives is the strategy of brands to explore niches, in the case of Fandons. Furthermore, the report highlighted the emotional experience lived in everyday life as a ‘stronger than ever’ theme in a brand’s narrative.
In this year’s edition of the D&AD Awards, Brazil received 28 Pencils — five yellow, five graphite and 18 wooden — and surpassed those won in 2023, when the country received 27 awards.
The most awarded agency in this edition of the festival was AlmapBBDO, winning two Yellow Pencils (one of them for the film ‘Gerações’, created for Volkswagen, produced by Boiler Filmes and reproduced below); one Graphite and four Wooden Pencils.
