Influencer and journalist, Silvia Ruiz teamed up with economist Cristiana Bittencourt to found Re-Age, an agetech aimed at women 45+. The startup hits the market with a line of supplements developed for climacteric women and a broad content platform.
Re-Age – Rethink Aging is being launched after two years of research in Brazil and abroad with products developed by doctors.
After personally experiencing the impact of menopause, Silvia and Cristiana decided to undertake, creating the brand with a line of high-performance products based on science to fill the gap that exists in the Brazilian market.
They joined a team of experts that includes an endocrinologist, nutritionist and researchers to develop the brand’s formulas, create a content platform to provide information to women going through this phase, as well as a community for women online.
The entrepreneurs have an ambitious growth project and have already attracted the attention of investors even before the launch, raising R$1.5 million from angel investors.
Conservative estimates according to consultancy Femhealth Insights show that the market for supplements for menopause will be $16 billion by 2025 and $24.4 billion by 2030 _the fastest growth within FemTechs.
