The video features the actor as the founder of ‘Nubanc’ and explores the bank’s services in honor of the series’ 30th anniversary
Nubank presented the short film “Nubanc”, to celebrate 30 years of ‘Friends’. The commercial stars Matt LeBlanc, who played the character Joey Tribbiani on the series.
In the short, the actor decides to found his own bank, ‘Nubanc’, as a solution to the complications of traditional banks. The proposal catches the attention of Nubank in Brazil, which promptly invites the actor to collaborate.
The video was created by the agency Wieden+Kennedy SP, with creative participation from LeBlanc, and features several ‘easter eggs’ from the series. Previously, the bank had already installed four replicas of the program’s famous purple doors at strategic points in São Paulo, anticipating the exhibition’The Friends Experience’, which opens at Shopping Cidade São Paulo on November 28th.
In addition to “Nubanc”, the action features five more videos in which the actor explores services offered by Nubank, such as Nubank+, FGTS and Nu Limite Garantido. “Nubank had a brilliant idea that I loved from the beginning. They are an inspiration to people who are trying to improve their lives. I’m proud to be part of this project and I hope Brazilians enjoy ‘Nubanc’ as much as I do,” said Matt .
The campaign will be broadcast on TV, social networks, online and offline media, in addition to partnerships with content creators, amplifying dialogue and interaction with the public across the country.
