Droga5 and Crispin Porter + Boguski compete for funds that in 2023 were R$718.2 million
Santander officially begins the selection process to choose an advertising agency in the Brazilian market this Friday (8). The agencies CP+B (Crispin Porter + Boguski) and Droga5 were invited by CMO Juliana Cury.
One of them will replace BETC Havas, which took over the bank’s communications last year due to global alignment after the contract with Suno United Creators was discontinued.
The local budget in 2023, according to Kantar Ibope Mídia’s gross investment metric, that is, without channel discounts, was R$718.2 million. In the first half of 2014 it was more than R$261.6 million.
Santander is also promoting a global pitch to identify the agent that will consolidate media buying in all the markets in which it operates (Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, United Kingdom, Germany, Portugal, Poland and the northeast region of the United States).
The groups Havas, Mediabrands, Dentsu and WPP participate. The delivery of the projects also takes place this Friday, according to the source propmark. The presentations begin next Wednesday (13).
