Pinterest has announced new features aimed at making holiday shopping easier. With the new feature, the platform now allows users to find the ideal gift, create personalized wish lists and share their gift ideas, in one place.
According to the platform, in addition to benefiting consumers, the new feature should offer brands the opportunity to reach users throughout their entire shopping journey.
Among the new features are the Christmas Gift Guides, created in partnership with outlets such as Elle Brasil, Histórias de Casa, Glamor Brasil and Capricho, which provide gift suggestions for different tastes and needs.
Pinterest also has partnerships with brands such as Boobam, Mercearia Maravilha and Lela Brandão Co, which offer everything from decoration items to clothing and accessories suggestions.
The platform will also make it possible to quickly save items from gift lists. When you save Pins from specific tabs, Pinterest automatically organizes them into a shoppable “wish list,” making the shopping process even more convenient.
According to data from the platform, Pinterest has established itself as the main destination for inspiration for Christmas shopping in Brazil. Around 75% of monthly users say that the platform helps them choose the ideal product.
Additionally, 80% of monthly users point to Pinterest as their first source of holiday inspiration. The impact is significant: Pinterest users spent, on average, 20% more during the festive season this year compared to non-users.
