Place aluminum foil to increase the Wi-Fi signal or the power of household appliances at home. Who never? It was with this behavior in mind that CDR+ found the insight for the new communication from the packaging company Wyda.
The concept developed is “Wyda: go as far as your imagination goes. Or in the everyday classic.” and highlights that the brand’s products can be used to prepare food in the oven or to protect food stored in the refrigerator.
The objective of communication is to reach new audiences, go viral and, therefore, increase sales.
The campaign created by CDR+ and named “Extraterrestrial Wyda”, illustrates the agency’s central idea and brings one of these unusual uses: making a helmet to communicate with ETs. A film, produced by Santeria, shows with a humorous narrative a family that, in addition to the classic everyday uses, uses sheets of aluminum foil to make accessories and try to contact aliens.
After a teaser phase on social media with posters of iconic alien films, the campaign is now officially on air. In addition to films for TV, Wyda Extraterrestre’s strategy includes a team of influencers linked to ufology, pop culture and the nerd universe, and pieces for social networks and OOH in common formats and gigantography.
