What has more value is what we lack. And the scarcest good in the world today has been reality.
Does vaccine work? Mask saved? Does environmental devastation exist? Is global warming a scam?
They hijacked reality. And the ransom demanded is too high: thousands of preventable deaths in the pandemic, refugees, risk to democracy, a planet with a high fever, etc.
Perhaps we don’t have laws and courts fast enough and good enough to punish those who gain financial or political advantage by inventing realities that drive people into delusion and the world into chaos. Tim Jones was an amateur close to what is done today.
