This Tuesday (22), YouTube announced an update to its policies to combat fake news about Brazil’s elections. According to the platform, one of the measures will be the removal of fake news about the 2018 election.
In the note, YouTube said it will take down videos with false information about fraud, “errors or technical problems that allegedly changed the results of previous elections, after the results have already been officially confirmed” (read the full note below) .
