Partnership between bank and agency had existed since February 2017, and the announcement of its end was announced late this Wednesday afternoon (30)
A news, released late this Wednesday afternoon (30), took the market by surprise: Bradesco and Publicis ended the partnership. The decision does not affect other Publicis agencies, such as Leo Burnett Tailor Made, which was also selected in Bradesco’s last advertising pitch.
However, the partnership between bank and agency yielded important campaigns, such as the fireflies trilogy and the launch of BIA, Bradesco’s artificial intelligence, which had one of the biggest recalls for the brand, above Alexa and Siri.
In 2020, the BIA received around 95,000 messages of insults and sexual harassment. Even though she is not a real woman, this underscores the reality women face. From then on, in several actions, the theme was addressed, in addition to involving other brands, such as Magalu and Vivo.
In another work, Publicis brought together iconic characters from The Jetsons and The Flintstones, from Hanna-Barbera Studios, now Warner Bros. During the pandemic, the agency launched the ‘Aguente Firme’ campaign, which included films for both companies and individuals.
