Riachuelo has just launched another novelty for the market. The brand, which for 75 years has had the customer at the center of its business and is recognized for its work and concern in mitigating the socio-environmental impacts that fashion causes, presents a sustainable collection inspired by Charles Schulz’s Snoopy comics.
The new collection is part of the movement Take Care with Peanutsa Peanuts initiative that aims to convey messages of care to fans — Take Care of Yourself (“Take care of yourself”)Take Care of Each Other (“I take care of the other”) e Take Care of the Earth (“Take care of planet Earth”), important themes for the Millenium and Z generations, such as self-care, empathy, welcoming and sustainability – through light, fun and simplified language in the stories of Charlie Brown and Snoopy’s class.
This collab between Riachuelo and Peanuts focuses on taking care of the Earth with pieces made from raw materials and more sustainable production processes, with nature in the foreground. The women’s and men’s pieces range from children to adults and include products such as bodies, t-shirts, cropped tops, shirts, sweatshirts, and pajamas, as well as accessories, such as toiletry bags and notebooks made of ecological material. The looks also feature prints with images from Charles Schulz’s comic strips, which have sustainability and nature in the foreground.
To promote the “Take Care Peanuts” initiative in Brazil, Peanuts has partnered with Fundação SOS Mata Atlântica, an NGO for the protection of the Brazilian forest. It is a project that is committed to contributing to the recovery of the most attacked biome in the country, planting 75,000 trees over five years. To also contribute to the action in partnership with SOS Mata Atlântica, Riachuelo donated this year around 100 thousand reais for the planting of 7,500 seedlings.
The sustainable collab Snoopy Take Care Save the Planet is available, until April 18 or while stocks last, on e-commerce and in selected Riachuelo stores.
