Flow Studios programs are not getting paid for the videos since the speech about Nazism, by former member Monark
It has been 63 days since the Flow Podcast became the center of one of the main discussions on social media. After the talk about Nazism by the former presenter of the program, Monark, on February 8, which culminated in the loss of several sponsors, the podcast lost the monetization of its videos.
At the time, when welcoming federal deputies Kim Kataguiri and Tabata Amaral to the program, Monark defended the existence of a Nazi party in Brazil.
Among the comments, he said “I think the Nazi party had to be recognized by law”, “within the [liberdade de] expression we want to release everything” and “if the guy wants to be an anti-Jew, I think he had the right to be”.
As it couldn’t be different, at the time, the subject ended up on Twitter’s trending topics, and Monark was removed from the staff and partners of Flow Studios.
This week, then, Flow Podcast launched the #MONETIZAFLOW campaign, which calls for YouTube to return to monetizing the program’s videos and other podcasts that are part of Flow Studios.
The movement has been embraced on social media and is counting on the support of celebrities and other podcasts, such as PodPah.
In addition to the programs, the campaign was also embraced by people known in the media, such as Rafinha Bastos, Lucas Salles and Rica Perrone.
