SBT’s official YouTube news channel, SBT News, has reached a special milestone. According to the video monitoring platform Tubular Labs, the vehicle reached 116 million views on the site. The number makes the broadcaster’s journalism vertical the largest on the platform in the News & Politics category in Latin America.
The brand was celebrated for the internal names that make the broadcaster and YouTube channel work. Rodrigo Hornhardt, SBT’s journalism integration and planning manager and responsible for SBT News, celebrated the growth in the channel’s reach within the country. Check out his words:
“We are reaching other audiences and reiterating the relevance of our journalism. We managed to reach complementary and diverse audiences in relation to those we reached on TV Aberta. We succeed in our mission of informing our readers and viewers when the facts are happening and presenting what matters most. We already have a collection of scoops and exclusive reports that guided our competition”.
SBT News relies on journalistic production carried out by the broadcaster and its teams. The channel offers several articles and news broadcast on open television by the station. Not only that, but the vehicle also has a special program of exclusive programs for the digital medium.
In April, a new special frame will debut on the channel’s programming. Heading towards the next elections that will define the future president of Brazil, SBT News will launch a panel with exclusive interviews talking to the providential. In addition, the election itself will also be covered by the channel.
