From April 26th to May 1st, the biggest meeting of creativity and innovation in Latin America, Rio2C, takes place at Cidade das Artes, in Rio de Janeiro. In all, there will be 11 stages with transversal themes: Global Stage, the main one, presenting trends and discussions with experts in creativity and innovation; Brainspace, for neuroscience and mental health; House of Brands, for the marketing universe; Storyvillage, for the creatives; FutureU, with discussions on the future of work and education; Biodom, for ESG agenda; New Frontier, with technology; Cyberstage, which explores the area of games; Screening Room, for audiovisual; and Soundbeats, about the show business of music.
The program also includes a space for the Pitchingshow that will feature those already selected in 2019 and will open another week for new registrations and an area dedicated to startups with 36 players in the sector.
The event, which is sponsored by the Bank of Brazil, will receive, in its opening, the streamer Gaules, one of the members of Squad BB, a team of influencers of the Bank. The startup pitchings, whose main themes are sustainability, diversity and the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) agenda, will have the participation of BB executives on the benches: the technology director, Rodrigo Mulinari, the director of culture and people management, Thiago Borsari, and the digital business director, Pedro Bramont.
Banco do Brasil will also occupy Rio2C with the BB Tree, a lounge with a tree built with sustainable wood, which reinforces the Bank’s four communication pillars: technology, sport, culture and sustainability. At the BB Tree, the public will find a space to relax, recharge their electronic equipment, do business and network. In this environment inspired by a coworking space, visitors will also be able to enjoy an exhibition of Ancient Egypt – Daily Life to Eternity, in virtual reality. Those present will be able to learn more about Venture Capital with BB specialists, in addition to having the opportunity to see the WSL – World Surf League trophy, an event supported by the Bank’s sports area, which will feature the presence of surfers Silvana Lima and Julia Santos, interacting with Squad BB and the participants.
In addition to Gaules, other members of Squad BB will also be at Rio 2C, such as David Tavares (official host of #TamoJuntoNesseGame, BB eSports platform), Leonardo “MarottaH”, Marcos “Alef”, Allan “Turma do Cururu” and Cyntia “ iMaryCn”, which will be part of the Cyberstage Stage talking about the responsibility of influencing people and creating communities in eSports. They will participate in activities with the public on GameBox, the Bank’s gamer truck that has been taking the gamer universe all over Brazil, and during the event they will be at Cidade das Artes, promising to bring even more interactivity to the place. The trailer has 12 meters and inside it has 12 PCs (two reserved for streaming), five consoles and a fully equipped space for games like CS:GO, Fortnite, LoL, Valorant, Street Fighter V, Dragon Ball Fighter Z, FIFA 22, Super Mario Party and many others that can be played simultaneously on the spot.
