Following more of the leak that happened during the week, PlayStation has officially revealed the next batch of PS Plus games. The May 2022 PlayStation Plus lineup includes FIFA 2022, Curse of the Dead Gods and Tribes of Midgard. All three games will be available from May 3.
FIFA 22 doesn’t really need an introduction. Soccer (or football) simulator is one of the most popular sports games in the world, and FIFA 22 is one of the best entries in recent years. He got an 8/10 in our FIFA 22 review. The PS5 and PS4 versions of FIFA 22 will be free. As an added bonus, subscribers will also be able to claim an exclusive 11-player Ultimate Team card pack and an Icon Moments Loan Player Pick.
Tribes of Midgardis an action RPG played from an isometric perspective. Designed for co-op play alongside friends, Tribes of Midgard presents a dangerous world filled with gigantic and mysterious enemies. The overarching story harkens back to Ragnarök, one of the most important events in Norse mythology. While Tribes of Midgard has both survival and roguelike elements, it is more accessible than many other games in these genres. The PS4 and PS5 version of Tribes of Midgard will be free.
Launched in 2021, Curse of the Dead Gods is also an isometric action game. Curse of the Dead Gods takes place in a dangerous temple filled with increasingly challenging enemies. It offers a lot of variety in its fast-paced combat, thanks to its curse system, as well as several different weapon classes.
May’s batch of free games could be the last before the renewed PS Plus subscription launches in June with three tiers. PlayStation users will be able to choose from three tiers for their PS Plus membership; Essential, Extra and Premium. All three tiers will still include monthly freebies.
