The internet has been following the McDonald’s controversy in recent days. This time the confusion is over the line snacks McPicanhawhich despite the name, did not have meat with this type of cut, offering only a sauce with a picanha flavor.
At first, the restaurant regretted the confusion and “misunderstanding” of the customers, which resulted in analysis by Procon and Conar, the advertising regulatory agency in Brazil. After several attacks and complaints on social media, the fast food company decided to speak out and announced that the removal of the sandwich from the menu will be temporary.
“Sorry, guys! We hesitated on the name of our new sandwich. That’s why we decided to take it off the menu. But soon the sandwich with the biggest meat in Méqui and the delicious picanha-flavored sauce is back. With another name and with the same flavor that the crowd loved”, said McDonald’s on its official Instagram.
