TIM started the countdown to Rock in Rio with a campaign that highlights the power of music with the motto “at Tim, music doesn’t stop”.
The action was created by Betc Havas and features the song “Don’t Stop Me Now”, by Queen, as the soundtrack. In the campaign film, the character in the video “dives” into different musical genres through time through different posters of musicians and bands hanging on her bedroom wall.
The poster that appears at the end of the film is that of Rock in Rio, where the character meets the singer IZA, TIM ambassador and one of the participants of this year’s festival.
“We have resumed our position as a great promoter of musical events in Brazil and this campaign shows, precisely, why this position is taken. Music brings people together, transports, takes people to special moments, it is a great passion of Brazilians”, said Ana Paula Castello Branco, Advertising and Branding director at TIM.
The campaign also includes digital media, actions on social networks and a radio spot.
“To celebrate the sponsorship of Rock in Rio Brasil 2022, we brought this dive into the history and styles of music. And one of the premises of the production was to bring maximum historical fidelity to the costumes, hair, instruments, scenography, art direction, aesthetics of the posters”, said Alexandre Vilela (Xã), VP of Creation at Betc Havas.
