CCXP Awards will have 32 sub-categories and will be held in July; the pop culture event is scheduled to take place between December 1st and 4th, after two years online
CCXP announces several news in the same week. This Wednesday (4th), registration for the first edition of the CCXP Awards, which takes place in July this year. Interested parties can compete for the award in 32 subcategories, including Games & eSports, Films, Series, Literature, Comics and Content Creators. Movies, series, comics, games and books that were released between January 1 and December 31, 2021 are eligible.
The result will be the formation of a shortList composed of the 10 works chosen for each subcategory. This stage begins on June 7th with votes from the technical jury – formed by independent presidents and five other guest judges – and popular vote in the election of the finalists within each subcategory. The list will be reduced to the number of the best five participants. This stage starts on the 16th and ends on the 30th of June.
For the election of the winners of each subcategory, on the 5th of July, a new voting begins, commanded again by the technical jury and popular vote in the award website. The CCXP Awards ceremony is scheduled for July 15, in São Paulo.
On Thursday (5th), the sale of tickets for the CCXP will open which, after two years of being held in remote format, returns to the face-to-face with the expectation of receiving more than 300 thousand people in four days of festival, between December 1st and 4th, at São Paulo Expo.
Among the novelties, a highlight is the purchase of the social media credential with the exchange for 1 kg of non-perishable food, with limited tickets. The food collected will be distributed through one or more social assistance NGOs.
