Rachel Apollonio is the presenter of “Meu Corre com Nimbus” and welcomes guests who remember their moments with tennis
Asics launched the web series “Meu Corre com Nimbus”, in honor of the twenty-fourth edition of the Gel-Nimbus sneaker.
The production features brand ambassador Rachel Apollonio as a presenter and guests who tell what their moments and memories were with the sneakers.
The first guest of the series is Daniel Kuriu, marathon runner, physical therapist and Asics FrontRunner, who tells in the episode his journey as a runner. “I’ve had Nimbus by my side since 2007, it was the shoe I used to start running. This sneaker is so important that I hung it in my living room after the Paris Marathon”, said Daniel.
The second guest of the webseries is Andressa Lopes, also a marathon runner, nutritionist and participant in the Asics Lume Club, a brand project that took six amateur runners to the Paris Marathon.
“I started running because of my father’s encouragement. He signed me up for a race in my city and I ended up taking the podium. My first marathon was in Porto Alegre, when I used the first Nimbus I had, in 2018”, recalled the marathon runner.
The last guest is the former volleyball player and Olympic champion, Fabi Alvim, who told of her trajectory as an athlete and spoke of the importance that tennis had in her post-career life. “When I started thinking about post-career, I continued to practice physical activities and became a half marathon runner”, said the former player.
