O Mothers Day is already coming and, as usual, it is common for brands to make several campaigns to honor the date. Much more than gifts, the day is to thank and give visibility to all the mother figures spread across Brazil.
For the celebration that takes place next Sunday (08), we separate some of the outstanding campaigns of Mothers Dayof the last 5 years.
Mother’s Day Campaigns:
1. Apothecary (2021)
the campaign of The boticarioin 2021, was marked by the presence of Regina Casewho played the role of “Dona Lourdes”, in the soap opera “Mother’s love”, from Globo. Developed by AlmapBBDO, the action paid tribute to mothers who were on the front line during the fight against COVID-19, whether they were doctors, scientists, kitchen workers or technicians, with reports from their children.
In addition, in the media, the hashtag #MothersWhoCare gained prominence among the public. Check out the video:
2. Nest (2021)
To the sound of the famous song by the British group The Beatles, “All You Need Is Love”, the Ninho campaign for Mother’s Day 2021, was created by Publicis Brasil.
The main theme was how a mother’s love transforms the looks and impacts the children’s lives, through affection. The stories of the film are real, and it is possible to know each one in the mini documentaries made by the brand.
3. Hering (2021)
Hering, in 2021, brought the actresses Fernanda Montensick e Fernanda Torreswho are mother and daughter, to star in the campaign. “In the Rhythm of the Mothers of Brazil” pays tribute to women who bring luck, and show that each Brazilian mother has her own time.

4. Havaianas (2020)
The campaign “From Havaianas, for all the mothers in Brazil”, was aired during the first year of the coronavirus pandemic. The film mainly shows the difficulty of adapting to the new reality of the moment: the virtual world.
It was the first time that the children could not be with their mothers during the date, and therefore, Havaianas sought to bring a little more joy and comfort to the homes of Brazilians, while we were still in quarantine. See the movie:
5. Brazil Cocoa (2020)
The Brasil Cacau campaign in 2020 was also during the period of isolation. With the positioning “It’s all Brazilian”, the brand decided to bring in its action, the most varied ways that Brazilians call their mother, according to the regions of the country.
