Aventura, producer of musicals in the country, with more than 35 shows performed in almost 15 years on the market, announces the first “Pixar in Concert” in the country, with sales already open. For the first time, the company, recognized in the creative economy, signs an international show of another genre, bringing together a symphony orchestra performing original scores from award-winning films, synchronized with the images on a super screen, with special effects, guest singers and a big surprise.
The premiere takes place on July 9th and the season continues until the 17th, in São Paulo, at Teatro Alfa, on Saturdays and Sundays, with the participation of the Villa-Lobos Symphony Orchestra. In Rio de Janeiro, the event takes place between July 21 and 31 at Cidade das Artes, with 60 musicians from the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra. Both orchestras will be conducted by Maestro Adriano Machado.
“Pixar in Concert”will feature music and scenes from 15 classics, including Pixar’s inaugural animated feature Toy Story and the Oscar®-winning filmsFinding Nemo, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up – Altas Aventuras and Viva – life is a party.
Featured scores by Oscar® and Grammy® winning composers Randy Newman (films Toy Story, Monster Inc.) Monster University, Cars and Michael Giacchino (Incredibles 1 and 2, Ratatouille, Up – High Adventures, Amusingly, Live – Life is a party), plus music by Thomas Newman (Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, WALL-E).
