Short video platform on mobile reinforces its musical pillar at the festival that takes place in Rio and SP
The TikTok platform will be present at the Mita Festival, an event that will have among its main attractions Gorillaz, The Kooks, Gilberto Gil and Rüfüs do Sol. The project includes exclusive content for the community, in addition to TikTok brand activations, on the 14th and 15th in São Paulo and on the 21st and 22nd in Rio de Janeiro.
The action, according to the company’s statement, “aims to position TikTok, which has music as one of its main pillars, as an important partner for festival content. Mita, in turn, sees TikTok as a great partner to promote its brand in the market. The idea is to create a synergy between the platform and the musical event to provide a different experience to the public.”
TikTok’s agreement with the festival also “involves the dissemination and expansion of content about the event within the app through the #FestivalNoTikTok, a hashtag that will also be used permanently to engage creators to post content at other events across the country.
The initiative is unprecedented in Brazil, but already has successful cases in festivals in Latin America, such as the editions of Lollapalooza held in Argentina and Chile. Platform users can also gain access to a discount for festival tickets through the TikTok Bonus Program.”
