16 participants compete for prizes from the 17th on Band and on the 20th on Discovery+
Next Tuesday (17), the new season of MasterChef Brasil, the Band’s talent show, premieres. In this edition, the public will follow the journey of 16 amateur cooks in search of the trophy.
From the 20th, the attraction will also be shown every Friday at 7:25 pm on Discovery Home & Health channel and discovery+. Conducted by Ana Paula Padrão, the ninth edition features 17 episodes.
For the first time in its history, the program also gains a new location: the Vera Cruz studios, in São Bernardo do Campo (SP). Opened in 1949, the historic space of 7200 square meters transformed the film industry in the country, hosting 22 productions.
The tests, such as the ‘MasterChef Auction’ and the ‘Desafio do Muro’, where each pair must prepare identical versions without seeing what the other is doing, will be in this edition.
“To fight for this year’s grand prize, we will have the most intense and fierce competitors that have ever passed through here. They were chosen from thousands of candidates and they know how to cook well. But, in addition to being good with pans, they are extremely competitive. This season promises to be about dispute and not friendship”, warns Marisa Mestiço, director of the attraction.
