Another edition of Rio2C has come to an end, and ADNEWS, which was present in the coverage of the event, separated some of the highlights and special interviews that took place there. Inclusion came strongly to this year’s conversation circle, with spokeswoman Latasha Gillespieexecutive director at Amazon and IMDb, showing how she is working to bring more diversity within big companies like Amazon Prime Video.
There was also indigenous representation in the panel “Before the Brazil of the crown, there was the Brazil of the headdress”, where Célia Xacriabá opened the conversation with Alok to create a reflection on historical reparation and the origins of Brazil.
At the House of Brands, a space dedicated to advertising, media and advertising, the hosts received important names such as Linn da Broken representing the LGBTQIA+ community.
In music, the guest Luisa Sonzaone of the biggest Brazilian musical names today, spoke about a more mixed-race sound future without genre labels.
Still in the music scene, the rapper Shaman together with Ice Blue, Jairo Andrade e Alexandre Ducan spoke on a panel about the rise of trap and the style’s potential for years to come.
In fashion, interaction with the virtual is more present than ever. That was the debate between Olivia Merquiorfounder of BRIFW and other professionals such as columnists for Folha and the CEO of DRUID.
