Dua Lipa, owner of hits such as Don’t Start Now, Levitating and, for those who are a real fan, New Rules, announced that she will perform in São Paulo on September 8th. The presentation will take place in the Anhembi District, and the Future Nostalgia Tour will star the queen of pop, which will also serve as a form of promotion for the album that recently received a Grammy.
Pre-sales for Elo card customers will start on Tuesday, May 17th and will end on the following day (18th). The official sale, in turn, will begin on Thursday, May 19. The tour promises to be what pop lovers have been looking forward to for a long time, and Dua is sure not to disappoint anyone.
The singer’s songs fit into that style that everyone likes to listen to, no matter their age. From the TikTok generation to those who are older and need a more lively song to (at least try) start that difficult Monday in a less painful way. It integrates the soundtrack of videos of all styles on social networks, appears directly on different radio stations (the queen also manages to be versatile) and is still often found among the most streamed songs on Spotify.
“Come on guys, women” has never made so much sense. Dua was born in London, but is of Albanian origin. By the way, her name means “love” in Albanian. With her second album, Future Nostalgia, released in 2020, she received three different Brit Award nominations and won two of them: Album of the Year and British Female Artist of the Year. As if that wasn’t enough, she recently won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album last year. The nominations and awards themselves don’t stop there, and the only thing left for us to think about is: “what a woman”.
For anyone who is a pop lover, I would say this show will be a must. “She’s iconic, she’s a legend and she’s the moment” fits perfectly when it comes to Dua. The songs bring important messages, and, let’s face it, after all this, not liking this artist becomes practically impossible. The show is coming in the second semester and, as it has only one performance, the recommendation for those who want to go is to buy as soon as possible to guarantee their place.
