Executive at Stink Films is the Brazilian market representative on the D&AD 2022 Editing Jury
Manager Director of Stink Films in São Paulo, Renata Dumont ended the season of interviews with Brazilian judges at D&AD 2022. The executive was the representative of the Brazilian market in the Festival’s Editing category.
“It is very easy for you to detect a beautiful work of art direction or the best photography, but editing is a subtle topic, which needs to be studied to know how to detect an exquisite work”, said the executive.
As an example, Dumont cited an article from the American The Washington Post that talks about the power that the edition has to finish off everything that has been built by different teams throughout the process. “Everything you see at the end is the result of an editing team working behind it.”
This Tuesday (17), D&AD released the pieces that entered the shortlist of the awards. There are 1,362 entries in total and Brazil has 62 representatives – Africa and GUT São Paulo lead the nominations in the country.
