Novabrasil Festival will have Pão de Açúcar sponsorship and slogan ‘Chega de Saudade’
Novabrasil announced the return of the Novabrasil Festival. The 2022 edition of the event will take place on October 15th and 16th, at Arena Anhembi, in São Paulo.
This year’s edition will feature more than 10 attractions, under the slogan “Chega de saudade”, and has its first sponsor, Pão de Açúcar.
“For the first time, the Novabrasil Festival will have two days. And this is due to the demand of our listeners, the general public and thanks to the radio’s relationship with the artists and the receptivity of the sponsors in relation to the project”, said Danilo Fuin, executive director of Novabrasil.
Ticket pre-sales will open on June 1st, the date on which the radio completes 22 years on the air, still without the announcement of the event’s line-up.
“We want to privilege Novabrasil’s audience and the public that has been with us in the last 10 editions of the festival. The idea is to hold a memorable edition with the meeting between generations of Brazilian music lovers”, said Fernando Roxo, CEO of Grupo Thathi.
The first batch will be available in July, along with the release of the first confirmed artists, and will gain a series of unfoldings and activations throughout the year.
“This year we will reach important milestones for the Festival. In addition to the two days, the edition will take place on the eve of MPB Day, celebrated on October 17. We are expecting to receive more than 20 thousand people”, added Luana Araujo, marketing manager at the station.
