The event is scheduled to be held between the 27th and 31st of July, at Complexo do Anhembi, in São Paulo.
BBL, a company specializing in games and eSports, announced the launch of Ucconx (Universal Creators Conference Experience), a festival that promises to deliver an immersive experience and bring together gamer, pop, geek, otaku and street cultures. The event is scheduled to be held between the 27th and 31st of July, at Complexo do Anhembi, in São Paulo.
The event had been announced last year by Ucconx, but was postponed because of the pandemic. In February of this year, BBL bought the festival and intends to give it a new look, with a more attractive program and with heavy names from the event’s universe.
Those confirmed, for example, are the skater Sandro Dias, known as Mineirinho, as an ambassador for the Urban universe, and Millie Bobby Brown, a British actress and singer known for her role as “Eleven” in the Netflix series “Stranger Things”.
The organization’s ambition can be perceived by the space reserved for the edition. It will fully occupy the Exhibition Pavilion and the Convention Palace, totaling an area of 144,000 m².
According to BBL, the event will have 6 major thematic axes, with emphasis on the “Gamer” area, which will have the largest space and an Esports arena in Battle Royale format for 100 players at the same time and capacity for more than two thousand people.
The other themes are “Comics”, with comics and sale of works; “Asian”, with attractions from the Asian universe; “Cosplay”, with interactive activations; “Urban”, with MC’s battle, shows, dance, graffiti and streetwear; and “Filmes and Series”, with presentations by participants from the audiovisual ecosystem.
