Facebook invited presenter Rodrigo Hilbert to star in the social network’s new campaign, which shows how the platform’s groups can serve as a discovery tool and make users know, explore and improve skills.
Under the concept “Discoveries like this only in Facebook Groups”, the campaign created by AlmapBBDO entitled “Hilbert’s discoveries” shows that the presenter also takes advantage of the information that is shared in the groups to make discoveries, such as how to build a track skateboarding.
From interactions made by the presenter himself in the groups, Hilbert invited visual artists, influencers from the Skate universe and DIY (do it yourself) content creators, present in the Facebook Groups, to participate in the project, among them Maddu Magalhães, Felipe Foguinho , pro skaters Vinicius Sardi and Thayná Gonçalves, as well as artist Negritoo.
“Facebook groups have the power to bring to light discoveries that happen in the interactions of people in the communities. The idea is to tell Hilbert’s journey in a fun way and with some legacy for people”, explained Diego de Oliveira, marketing manager of the Goal.
The campaign was developed for the digital universe and has a series of content that will be broadcast on Facebook and Instagram. In addition, the initiative also includes content created by guest influencers showing potential new discoveries.
“Anyone can play ‘Hilbert’ with a little help from Facebook Groups, where thousands of people interact to exchange knowledge, join forces and make the impossible happen”, explains Philippe Degen, creative director at AlmapBBDO.
Hilbert’s skate park, co-created by Facebook Group participants and other artists, will be donated to a community in São Paulo.
