Mission: Impossible – Payback Part 1, the seventh film in the franchise starring Tom Cruise, won its first teaser trailer today, May 23. The trailer highlights the previous characters in the saga that will return for the new title, in addition to showing action scenes with the protagonist Ethan Hunt.

The film is being released 26 years after the first Mission: Impossible, which premiered in 1996. One of the actors who participated in the beginning of the franchise and will be present in Settlement will be Henry Czerny. In addition to the old actors, new names will also go down in history, such as Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff and Pom Klementieff.
The teaser trailer still shows classic elements that mark the franchise, such as frantic action scenes, chases with a lot of rush by Tom Cruise and even a scene of the spy jumping off a cliff using a motorcycle. Still, not many details are known about the film’s plot, other than that Ethan Hunt will have to save the world from a new global threat.
