At the opening of the event ‘Best practices in the Brazilian advertising market’, held by the ABA (Brazilian Association of Advertisers), this Tuesday (31), in São Paulo, president Nelcina Tropardi revealed that the entity and the Cenp (Self-Regulation Forum) of the Advertising Market) signed an agreement for advertisers to return to the self-regulation dialogue table.
ABA left Cenp last year, claiming that it was a necessary evolution, and that advertisers remained absolutely committed to self-regulation and the relevance of institutional dialogue.
“The world has changed. The market has evolved a lot. New and great challenges are knocking at the door, which pushes us, more than ever, to the need for a deep and free reflection on the new communication and media trends that involve advertisers’ interests. , vehicles, agencies and many other actors in this economic segment”, said a statement at the time.
At today’s event, which brought together professionals from agencies, advertisers and communication providers to discuss good market practices, Nelcina said that the dialogue with Cenp was resumed after meetings with the entity’s new president, Luiz Lara, and that the a new term of commitment would re-establish the joint work, without revealing more details.
