Last Friday, May 27th, athletes enrolled in the Insane Runners Experience had the opportunity to run the 100 km on one of the most historic courses in Brazil, Estrada Real, using Mizuno’s new model, the Wave Skyrise 3 .
The event started in the city of Santo Antônio do Leite, Minas Gerais, and arrived at the traditional Tiradentes square, in Ouro Preto. A select group of 34 runners was selected for this challenge.
The model chosen for the athletes to conquer the Estrada Real was the Wave Skyrise 3, which is part of the brand’s maximum cushioning category. It features Mizuno Enerzy technology in the midsole, combined with the construction of Mizuno Wave technology, which provides greater stability and cushioning.
On the inner part of the sole is the Mizuno Enerzy Core technology that provides a soft sensation with every step throughout your run. The air-injected rubber compound is advertised by the brand as the softest material with the highest energy return ever developed by the brand.
On the sole, located on the rear cleat, is the X10 technology, a carbon rubber compound that provides greater resistance to the region, and the “Flex Groove” concept, channels with a special design to provide flexibility to the shoe in the forefoot. .
