Marcelo Bicudo, CEO of Superunion Brazil. will represent the Brazilian market on the Young Creatives Design Jury, a Cannes Lions category dedicated to young creatives up to 30 years old.
The other names of this jury are Chanatthapol Tiensri (TBWA, Thailand), Eva Hasson (BBR Saatchi & Saatchi). Jaime Duque (MullenLowe SSP3, Colombia), Stephanie Yung (Zulu Alpha Kili, Canada) and Pum Lefebure (Design Army, USA), who chaired the jury for the main Design Lions category last year, with Marcelo Bicudo as a colleague on the jury.
According to the CEO of Superunion Brasil, the work will be conducted faithful to the principle that creativity and strategy must always walk together. According to him:
“In the Design category, the idea clearly has to solve a problem. So it’s not just about language, but about strategic thinking, putting the human being at the center.”
Marcelo Bicudo celebrates his return to Cannes, where he will also be in person in June, after last year’s experience in the Design Lions category jury. He talked about his participation in the event:
“It’s a complete perspective of the market where you can see what agencies and design offices around the world produce. And now, that vision will focus on what young professionals are capable of. Seeing the next generations, with their lens for the world and for the future is fundamental”, he adds.
