The Meta Awards will be made up of four categories and a jury made up of industry and company leaders and outstanding creators from Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
Meta announces the launch of the Meta Awards, an award to celebrate the creativity of video work by agencies, brands and creators on Facebook and Instagram, in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
The announcement was made during the Meta Summit Latam, a digital event that closed a series of meetings, live and online, with customers, creators and consumers, across the region, this Tuesday (14/6).
To compose the jury, Meta will convene a panel of diverse professionals, mixing recognized industry leaders, Meta and outstanding creators in the three countries. Applications for the Meta Awards will open in July for the following categories:
- Full Funnel Video Strategy, which will evaluate campaigns that use video as the main resource in the entire strategy to achieve business objectives – from planning, through awareness to conversion. One of the jury’s considerations for the category will be the use of data as a premise for the creation of the campaign, in addition to the consistency and integration of the various video formats available on Meta’s platforms.
- Creativity in Video Use, which will focus on campaigns that use new formats and creativity to connect people with brands. In the category, the jury will evaluate how the brand translates an idea into a campaign that mixes long and short video formats, augmented reality and virtual reality, with consistent results in reach, interactions and conversions.
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Action, which will reward works that take a proactive stance in favor of diversity, equity and inclusion, through video narratives that seek to raise awareness, reduce discrimination, create inclusion and empower communities. Here, the jury will consider, for example, whether the campaign addresses one or more underrepresented groups; if it counted on diverse teams in its production; whether the message reflects a clear positioning of the company, among other aspects.
- Grand Meta Awards, which will reward the project that generated the most business results using Meta’s video platforms.
“The Meta Awards is a very important initiative for us, and its main objective is to celebrate and value this community that contributes so much to the success of our platforms and the industry as a whole”, explained Debora Nitta, Business Marketing Director at Meta. in Latin America.
