The initiative invited members of the Queer, Asexual, Filhos do Arco-Íris Studies Groups — LGBT+ Support Group and Drag Domain to participate in the action.
Facebook will promote a live to celebrate International LGBTQIAP+ Pride Day, next Tuesday (28) at 19 pm.
As part of the “Pride Collection” campaign, created in partnership with AlmapBBDO, the event will feature a “fashion show” led by Pabllo Vittar and with the help of Facebook Groups, which collaborated with insights such as colors, models and prints for the clothing collection.
“When a brand wants to talk to the LGBTQIAP+ audience, usually the representation of the community ends up being stereotyped. The Pride Collection starts from LGBTQIAP+ voices to not only allow access to other images of bodies, but to celebrate the diversity and beauty of each one”, said the head of Craft at AlmapBBDO, Roma Joana.
The presentation of the event will be in charge of John Drops, who will receive names like Vitor Di Castro, Halessia and Murilo Lorran, with live broadcast on the Facebook Brazil page.
The initiative invited members of the Queer, Asexual, Filhos do Arco-Íris Studies Groups — LGBT+ Support Group and Drag Domain to participate in the action.
“The creation of this collection was a journey of discovery. We seek to make this celebration as an appreciation of identities, from the people who will model, people who will act as dancers, creators and other types of professionals involved in the process”, pointed out Diego de Oliveira , head of Marketing at Facebook in Brazil.
As part of the campaign, Meta will also make a donation to NGOs supporting the LGBTQIA+ population in Brazil.
The Pride Collection can be seen live on June 28, starting at 7 pm on the Facebook Brazil Pages, Pabllo Vittar, Vitor DiCastro, Halessia, Gabriela Loran, Leandrinha Du Art and Katumirim.
