HMD Global, home of Nokia products, launches this week a marketing campaign to reinforce the presence of Nokia devices in Brazil. Rescuing the brand’s legacy in the country, the action celebrates the long-standing relationship of Brazilians with Nokia devices and highlights its presence with the concept “I’m here”.
The film shows people from various parts of the country living special moments with the brand’s devices, like connecting with dear friends, while highlighting the main qualities of the devices – such as “root European design”, the “Android system of millions” and the ” resistance that became a meme”. The strategy is 360 and the media mix also includes OOH, digital and radio.

Carolina Naves, Marketing Manager at HMD Global in Brazil, explains:
“Our main objective with the campaign is to reinforce the presence of Nokia devices in Brazil. And for that, we wanted to highlight all the reasons why Brazilians recognize the brand: quality, durability and, of course, the reputation that Nokia has had since the first devices arrived on the Brazilian market.”
The campaign was developed by the agency GARAGE, a partner of HMD Global in Brazil Eduardo Barbato, partner and VP of Strategy at the agency, tells more about the campaign development process:
“The idea for the campaign came from a very strong insight: the brand has always been in the hearts of Brazilians through internet conversations, memes and even the songs of artists. So what we did was to reinforce the physical presence through the portfolio of products in the hands of people in the most diverse places and occasions. A more human brand that is here to stay.”
