Rodrigo Lattaro is the new Global VP of Marketing & Growth at Tuvis, a technology integration company forsales enablement. The executive, who has already worked in large technology multinationals such as Microsoft and Phillip Morris, will be responsible for all the brand’s global strategic marketing planning, contributing to the objective of taking the technology startup to the next level in Brazil and other countries. from the continent.
Lattaro’s experience in the innovation and startup market also converges with Tuvis’ global expansion strategy. The executive’s last stint was at Unico – IdTech, a Brazilian unicorn valued at more than 2.6 billion dollars, where he served as Head of Growth, Marketing and Product. “I am very happy with this new challenge! Tuvis is an unprecedented platform in the world and being able to work in this new market that we created is incredible! This year, our first step was rebranding and now we are going to accelerate at full speed!”, highlights the executive.
Latin America has become one of the most attractive markets for Tuvis especially due to the popularity of instant messaging applications such as WhatsApp in the region. Allied to this is the growing demand for solutions that enable the connection between CRM platforms and instant messaging apps and that facilitate the day-to-day of companies’ sales teams.
For the co-founder and president of Tuvis, Deborah Palacios Wanzo, Rodrigo’s arrival consolidates a strategy that includes other initiatives, such as the rebranding promoted last April (previously the company was called Whatslly). “We are very happy with Rodrigo’s arrival! Undoubtedly, the look he brings to the universe of innovation, within the context of branding and Marketing, has been fundamental to our success and we will, for sure, grow even more from now on!”, she concludes.
In just three years, the startup reached very expressive numbers: today, there are more than 100 customers in 35 countries and more than 5 thousand users of the platform. Among its clients is Great Place to Work, which, after the arrival of Tuvis, registered an 80% growth in its sales in just one year.
In January, the company opened its first office in Brazil, in São Paulo, and in May, it opened the second, in Campinas. Tuvis also has units in important countries for the Latin American market, such as Mexico and Argentina, in addition to Israel and the United States.
In November 2021, the startup received a grant seed of US$ 11 million investment led by Zeev Ventures, by Israeli Oren Zeev, and which also had the participation of Base Partners, by Brazilians Fernando Spnola and Arthur Mizne, who has already invested in Nubank, Kavak and Wildlife. The initial round also had the participation of other influential names, such as Sérgio Fogel, co-founder of the unicorn dLocal. Deborah finishes:
“We are very happy with what we have built so far and, together with Rodrigo, we are ready for our next steps!”
