LayBack, a company created by André Barros and his son Pedro Barros, one of the main names in skateboarding worldwide, will launch on June 27 the campaign “Minha LayBack Favorita”, with the participation of athletes Jobiel, Vi Kakinho, Marlon Silva, Jonny Gasparoto, Murilo Peres, Yndiara Asp, Miguel Pupo, Ian Gouveia, Lucas Silveira and the founding partner Pedro himself.
The idea is for skaters to share on their social networks which brand’s beer label is their favorite, inviting the public to do the same. At the end of the campaign, the most creative and innovative posts will win an exclusive box with LayBack’s main drinks. The action is a continuation of the campaign “The Most Awarded Beer in the World”, launched in February.
Rafael Alcici, CEO of LayBack, told a little about the project:
“The videos were created by the athletes themselves and bring the personality of each one of them, talking to their audiences. The invited skaters are partners of the brand and dialogue with the essence of the company.”
Among the labels chosen are: Hop Lager, APA Lime Kush and Cold IPA – made with essential oils from plants and fruits and terpene, a compound naturally produced by plants, which helps to enhance the hop character.
With these strategies, LayBack seeks to consolidate the brand, which grew 400% in revenue in 2021, and, for this year, expects a growth of 80% and the opening of six more units around Brazil. Raphael adds:
“LayBack emerged as a craft beer and, today, encompasses sports, gastronomy, culture, sporting events, confection and social actions. Despite the company’s different business fronts, we have not forgotten our origins and are always innovating new labels for consumers.”
