With the launch of ads in countries, the platform continues the global momentum of its advertising program
Pinterest announced the expansion of ads to all businesses in three more markets in Latin America: Argentina, Colombia and Chile. The countries join Brazil and Mexico, where the feature has been available since last year.
These three markets will open after launching in Japan earlier this year and are part of the global expansion of Pinterest’s ad program.
With the expansion, companies of all sizes in these countries will have access to multiple types of ad formats and multiple targeting options to reach new audiences with content as new ideas are discovered and new projects are planned.
“We are delighted to expand our global advertising program to three more countries in our region: Argentina, Colombia and Chile. Our advertisers play an incredible role in enabling Pinterest users to turn inspiration into action to create the life they love, and we’re delighted to now allow more businesses in Latin America to connect with our engaged audiences through ads. ”, said André Loureiro, Executive Director of Pinterest in Latin America.
Recently, Pinterest has opened ads to a small group of companies as initial partners in Argentina, Colombia and Chile, such as Tiendas Paris (from the Cencosud group) and agencies, such as Publicis Groupe, who have already worked on the first campaigns on the platform. .
“When we learned that the Pinterest ad platform was going to arrive in Chile, we immediately wanted to launch a campaign in the country about ‘Cor’. We bet on Pinterest because we know that it is a platform where people are inspired when creating looks and nothing better than to be present with our campaigns”, said Belén Guini, Paris Fashion Marketing Manager.
