The three-year contract covers all brands in the Betsson Group portfolio
Betsson has announced former player Zé Roberto as the new brand ambassador. The partnership will last for three years and covers all brands in the Betsson Group’s portfolio.
Even after hanging up his boots in November 2017, the former player continues to serve as an example of discipline and dedication to fans.
“Zé Roberto is the best strategic partner we could think of to represent and increase the notoriety of our brand in Brazil. Considering that he is known worldwide, we have negotiated a global and multi-brand agreement, which allows the Betsson Group to use the prestige of Zé Roberto to promote our brands globally”, said Andrea Rossi, Commercial Director for Southern Europe and Latin America at the Betsson Group.
To celebrate the partnership, Zé Roberto used social media to announce his next professional step, saying he was returning to football, only this time as a coach. After the suspense and guesswork, the athlete announced the partnership with Betsson.
The technical terms of the partnership are the licensing of the global use of the player’s image for all Betsson Group brands, the designation of ‘Betsson Ambassador’, social media posts and participation in face-to-face activities such as events, photo shoots, meeting with fans, among others.
