MTV and TikTok have announced a partnership in Latin America for MTV MIAW 2022. The deal includes broadcast rights, activations, as well as a branded category in both the Mexico and Brazil editions.
With the partnership, TikTok joins as a broadcasting partner of the awards commanded, this year, by Camila Queiroz and Xamã, on July 28, from 9 pm, with simultaneous transmission on MTV Brasil and Pluto TV.
The social network also joins the “Anthem of the Year” category, which elects the most pumped song of the year, in addition to an activation directly from the Pink Carpet, with a 360º camera that will take slow motion photos of celebrities who pass by the carpet.
After two years without an audience, the awards will take place with the return of the in-person audience. The fifth edition of the award, in Brazil, has 35 categories in total.
The Brazilian edition of MTV MIAW 2022 is sponsored by L’Oreal, Samsung Galaxy A, Smirnoff Infusions, Spotify, TikTok and TIM.
