To promote its men’s sandals, the brand launches a campaign starring Douglas Silva and Ed Gama, created by AlmapBBDO
At the restaurant, Happy Hour, barbecue with friends… Havaianas launched a campaign to show that the brand’s models can be used anywhere.
Starring actor Douglas Silva and comedian Ed Gama, the campaign created by AlmapBBDO and produced by Paranoid, presents the brand’s men’s sandal models.
The 15-second film features the personalities joking about the fact that they only wear Havaianas in all situations, and questioning whether they have now become the brand’s poster boys. In addition, the campaign is also an invitation to everyone to wear Havaianas and get rid of the sameness, break barriers and paradigms, without fear of daring in the looks.
“Even in a tropical country, we realize that men are still afraid to fit sandals into their looks. We increasingly want to normalize the use of flip-flops in different environments, showing that it is possible to be elegant, comfortable and stylish using Havaianas”, said Mariana Rhormens, Havaianas Brasil Marketing Director.
The campaign includes national offline and OOH broadcasts, including POS in the brand’s official and partner stores, and action with influencers, managed by the Lema agency. The online media part was in charge of Blinks.
