Gonzalo Brujo goes succeed Charles Trevail, who takes on the role of executive chairman
Gonzalo Brujó has been promoted to Global CEO of Interbrand. The announcement came on Tuesday afternoon (19). The professional will succeed Charles Trevail, who now assumes the position of executive chairman. Brujó will be responsible worldwide for the general direction, strategy and growth of the company, which belongs to the Omnicom Group.
The executive has been with Interbrand for 19 years, leading operations and expanding the company’s business in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Having partnered with a variety of leading global companies to solve strategic branding, marketing and communication challenges, Brujó has worked with brands such as Axa, Huawei, Iberia, LATAM, Lenovo, Renault, Santander, Uber and Volkswagen Group.
Additionally, Brujó is a professor at several business schools, including the IE Business School, the University of Navarra and formerly the LVMH Academy. He is also the author of several books including ‘The Secrets of Luxury, Managing Brands in Fashion’, ‘The New Generation of Value and Lanmarq’.
