Fiat has revamped the Sound Design of its cars, introduced in 2021 as part of the brand repositioning process, and is launching Sound Design UX on Fiat Toro cars and Fiat Pulse.
With the launch, users will have a new auditory journey in cars, which starts the moment they enter the vehicle, goes all the way and ends the moment they leave the car. The other models of the brand will gradually have the new Fiat Sound Design.
The new sound identity of Fiat vehicles was developed by the brand in partnership with the Brazilian company Sound Thinkers and the entire creation and development process of the initiative was designed and tested together with users.
Fiat bet on more pleasant and modern sounds to mark each pickup action warning, such as adjusting the settings of the multimedia center, receiving notifications from the center, confirming the instrument panel configuration and rescuing pre-defined information.
The warnings about driving with the handbrake on or without the seat belt, driving with the door open, skipping a gear, parking the vehicle in reverse, turning off the car and opening the door without removing the ignition key, bring audios of louder and more repetitive alerts precisely to get the driver’s attention.
All the sounds of the two models are now more aligned, following the same identity and designed to improve the customer’s experience inside the vehicle.
