Approval was given after auditing the brand’s entire supply chain.
Coty announced its first strategic partnership in the country with the Cruelty Free International organization and now has its Risqué brand approved in the Leaping Bunny program.
In order for Coty to obtain this approval granted to the brand in the Leaping Bunny program, the company worked together with Cruelty Free International analyzing Risqué’s entire supply chain.
“Throughout the process, we performed rigorous auditing across the entire Risqué supply chain – involving 134 suppliers, with 110 raw materials and individual ingredients undergoing specific assessments. And from that moment on, we will have constant independent audits”, explained Henrique Sales, senior director of R&D at Coty Brasil.
Coty has been stepping up its commitment to delivering more sustainable and inclusive products, based on its ESG principles.
“More than ever, consumers expect brands to champion positive change, offering products and experiences that are also linked to many corporate social responsibility concerns, including social ones,” said Regiane Bueno, Vice President of Marketing at Coty Brasil.
