Joo Soares died at dawn on Friday (5th) in So Paulo. Known for his work as a presenter, comedian, writer and actor, the artist has also occupied the TV screens using his humor in advertising campaigns for various brands since the 1960s.
He imitated the always-running presidential candidate Enas Carneiro in a Brastemp commercial, was involved in a traffic accident in a film by Grupo Atlntica de Seguros, was stranded in Telesp’s action – the former telephone company in So Paulo – and traveled to the four corners of the country in action of Varig, an airline that was extinguished in 2006.
