Since last Monday (1), Andreia Abud has assumed the chair of vice-president of media at WMcCann. She will take over from Fabio Urbanas, announced in July last year, and who left the company ‘by mutual agreement’.
With a professional profile focused on data and performance, Andreia joins the team with the aim of bringing ‘greater efficiency in the operation’ with the purpose of leveraging the clients’ business results.
Newly arrived from W+K, where she held the role of head of the media operation, Andreia has worked at WMcCann between 2020 and 2021 as head of media at Thrive, being responsible for planning and managing all digital media for the brands of Nestl, and held the same role at Red Fuse Communications.
Another novelty, also in the media area, is Lus Fernando Monteleone. A professional with experience in the communication market, Toco, as he is better known, has worked at agencies in Brazil such as DPZ, Africa, Ogilvy, among others.
In his more than 25 years of career, Monteleone has worked with important clients from different segments, including Brahma, Ita, Vivo, Alpargatas, Mondelez, Mattel, Kimberly, Jac Motors, Fast Shop, etc.
Talent Marcel
Talent promoted the creative Camila Miyamura, at the agency for eight years, the creative director. Camila Piagge and Mariana Villela assume the position of associate creative director.
Camila Miyamura, who until then responded as Senior Art Director, becomes Diego Ferrite’s duo and both assume the leadership of the Ipiranga account. Camila Piagge, until then a senior copywriter, joined the company in December 2021 and has worked at MRM, Wunderman Thompson, VMLY&R and WMcCann.

President of P&G for Latin America, Juliana Azevedo, who has worked at United Way since September 2018, is now beginning her term on the Board of Mundial United Way Worldwide for the next three years. The UWW is a philanthropic organization in the world, with 1800 operations, present in 41 countries.

BMW Group Brazil
BMW Group Brasil will have Fabiano Severo as the group’s new head of corporate communication. Severo will report to Joo Veloso, who will lead the region’s communications department from Mexico, as corporate communications director for BMW Group America Latina, effective September 1.
