In these days of wearing masks, the expression of the eyes has never been so important. It’s the eyes that show emotions and reflect, in an undisguised way, people’s state of mind.
In the last few days, I was in charge of very important in-person activities, holding big events in the live marketing sector. A lot of work, a lot of dedication and care. And the most expressive payment in return is the sparkle in people’s eyes. How good it is to feel the genuine and genuine emotion expressed through the eyes.
Therefore, I want to dedicate this last text of the year to the people who participated in these intense moments. I want to dedicate to friends who left early.
In one of these events, we had the opportunity to pay posthumous tributes to our dear Claudio Xavier and Tony Coelho, who left us early this year. A way to comfort their families with the delivery of trophies-homage for their legacies as professionals who play an important role in our sector.
In these tributes, the shine in the eyes was different: it was the shine of tears, but also of gratitude.
In these same events – 5th Brazilian Congress of Live Marketing, Ampro Globes Awards 2021 and Live Marketing Confraternização -, which had more than 300 registered participants, we had the brilliance of knowledge, bringing together leaders from different areas, sharing their knowledge on the congress panels , which dealt with acceleration of transformation, growth, customer experience, relevance of data for performance and ESG.
Extremely important themes for those who want to accelerate in competitive environments. Themes, by the way, that will guide Ampro’s activities in the next year, since the institution intends to act as an accelerator in 2022.
On the same day, we had the shine of the winners, awarding the winning cases of the Ampro Globes Awards 2021, honoring, at the end, the protagonist of the Grand Prix “The uniform that never existed”, by TracyLocke for Centauro, Aída dos Santos. We prepared a special tribute for the athlete Aída dos Santos, but unfortunately she had to cancel the trip from Rio to São Paulo. But your special trophy will be delivered.
To TracyLocke, congratulations on her two-time title as Agency of the Year at the Ampro Globes Awards. And to Ambev, Customer of the Year, congratulations to one of the most active companies in live marketing.
And, at the end of it all, the glow of award-winning Peruvian cuisine, which offered a special experience in the get-together that ensured the final glow to the day of three closing activities of the live marketing year.
How good it is to end the year like this, with such brightness. And how difficult it is to give proper thanks to everyone who contributed to this success.
I won’t risk names, but I would like to thank all colleagues, partners, sponsors, vehicles, suppliers, customers who made these moments so special. More than ever, we need each other.
I believe in collectivity, in the strength of joint achievement. We cannot disperse. Empathy and a win-win spirit are also needed in relationships.
These last two years have shown us how fragile we are and how susceptible to unexpected problems we are. Let’s not let the collaborative and caring spirit leave us when all this finally passes.
Other problems will come. We still have many challenges ahead. We know that 2022 will not be an easy year. Let’s stay together! So I wish you, the reader of this column, a very special year, full of happiness and achievements.
May we have more opportunities to look at each other, eye to eye, and feel the emotion of being alive and active. May we have a 2022 full of shine!
