SBT is celebrating its 41st anniversary with entry into the metaverse and the launch of an exhibition and auction of NFT’s (Non-Fungible Tokens). As of August 19, 280 works that depict the history of the station will be aired.
Among the pieces, six photos by Silvio Santos; the first photo of Celso Portiolli on the program Passa ou Repassa, on April 26, 1996; “Danilo Sinatra in Concert”, a version by presenter Danilo Gentili, on The Noite; and a portrait of Eliana on the TV show Animal, with curiosities about the world of animals, in 1996.
The exhibition will be open until November 16 of this year and the images will have bids from R$ 200.00. The space where the exhibition will be held, named www.sbtverso.com.br, will be modeled after the structure of the SBT itself, starting at the Hall of Fame.
SBT was the first Brazilian television station to enter the NFTs market. The auction, now in the metaverse, only reinforces our bet on a global trend. With the trade in tokens, we aim to deliver a unique virtual reality experience to the public and SBT fans, who will have access to exclusive first-hand products from the soap opera by Poliana Moa in a virtual store, immersive rooms, bar challenges gold, among other attractions”, says Carolina Scheinberg, SBT’s new business manager.
The action is being developed in partnership with Origgio, a brand owned by InspireIP, a copyright registration company using blockchain technology. SBT’s NFT exhibition is revolutionary because through Origgio’s technology we are going to make a direct integration with a metaverse. Everything was tailor-made for the broadcaster and the NFTs can be sold directly in the metaverse, explains Caroline Nunes, founder and CEO of InspireIP.
