The campaign encourages dialogue between adults, children and young people about the need to use the internet safely and responsibly.
The Protect Us Kids Foundation, founded by Veda T. Woods, in partnership with Globo channels, will launch its second campaign in Brazil this Tuesday (16th).
The initiative was created to protect children and teenagers from the risks of the internet and aims to make the population aware of the dangers to which young people are exposed when using cyberspace indiscriminately.
The film encourages open dialogue between adults, children and young people about the need to use the internet safely and responsibly.
The campaign will be shown on TV Globo and on channels GNT, Viva and Multishow during the month of August.
We are very grateful for this partnership, which has given us the opportunity to spread this message to such a wide audience. We hope that the broadcast on Globo channels will be an opportunity for reflection and communication within Brazilian families, said Adriana Alcntara, national representative of Protect Us Kids in Brazil.
Gloob and Gloobinho, Globo’s children’s channels, also support the project and will show a different version of the film, aimed at children and their families.
Our channels support initiatives that respect children and provide safe environments for children and trusting environments for parents. Conversations about safety in the digital environment should include families, caregivers, schools and also brands that talk directly to this audience. Information is the first step so that we can become aware of the problem and contribute to the safety of the little ones in the digital environment”, completed the Marketing and Digital Platforms Manager of the Children’s Unit, Luciane Neno.
