Submarino launched the “Game for all” campaign, which aims to promote diversity and inclusion in the world of online games in the week of celebration of Gamer’s Day, celebrated this Monday (29).
The action takes place in partnership with AbleGamers, a foundation that facilitates the access of People with Disabilities (PwD) to the gamer universe through counseling, donation of equipment adapted for PwDs in the gamer market and production of accessories that meet each type of need.
The recent partnership with Submarino is very important to promote dialogue on the subject, making more people aware of the work of AbleGamers and the accessibility solutions available in video games. That way, more people can play and share gaming experiences, said Christian R. Bernauer, CEO of AbleGamers Brazil.
The video manifest was recorded at the XDome Gamer Lab arena in So Paulo. The creation and execution of the campaign was in charge of Druid.
We are going to use the Submarino brand strength to bring information about more accessibility in the category. The digital gaming environment can and should be more inclusive to generate opportunities and transform real people on the other side of the screen, said Vitor Monte, Submarino’s head of marketing.
Submarino’s campaign for Gamer’s Day features influencers CadeirantedoCS, Machadinho, Rafinha 1fps, Dizeritus, Nerdsurdo, Cadeirante FPS, TayHuhu, The Darkness, Voltan, Brabox and Oi Francine.
“Our purpose is to generate connection and, for it to be effective, we need to meet the real needs of the public. We are, together, seeking to modify these spaces, because we believe that games can be even more inclusive, diverse and transformative,” added Bruna Pastorini, Head of Planning and Content at Druid.
In addition to the campaign, the brand will also sponsor the foundation’s annual event and will make a series of educational content available on its Instagram profile about the world of games and the importance of accessibility, in co-creation with AbleGamers.
